A research tool for people doing real climate work
Sustainability professionals spend hours sifting through fragmented reports, whitepapers, and databases. Made for Planet was our attempt to fix the research layer — a curated, structured intelligence platform built for the people actually working on climate problems.
Process
Designing for expert users
The users were domain experts, not novices. That meant our information architecture needed to be dense but navigable. We ran a series of card-sorting exercises with researchers and policy folks to understand how they mentally organise sustainability knowledge.
The resulting taxonomy became the backbone of the platform's content model.

Outcome
Platform launch
Shipped the platform with 800+ curated resources across 12 sustainability domains. Achieved a 4.8/5 satisfaction score in early access. Built a subscriber base of 1,400+ sustainability professionals in the first three months.
